Holistic Healer, Educator, Certified Life Purpose Coach™, and Spiritual Direction Coach
Karen Schweitzer, a lover of life and dedicated student of personal growth, has spent the last 40 years exploring the vast fields of human development and body/mind integration. Her lifelong mission has been to live in harmony with her inner values and to support others in stepping into high energy, fulfillment, and emotional liberation.
Karen’s formal journey in compassionate care began with a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling from Vermont College and graduate studies in Addiction Studies/Counseling at Rosemont College. For many years, she served as a dedicated Family Counselor and Educator at the Caron Treatment Center in Wernersville, PA. Though successful and deeply fulfilled in her counseling work, Karen eventually took early retirement to fully embrace her passion for holistic healing, life coaching, and spiritual guidance.
Throughout her 40-year career, Karen has trained alongside world-renowned masters in mind-body medicine and integrative health. She worked under the clinical direction of Deepak Chopra, M.D., at the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center in Lancaster, MA, where she served as Director of Patient Education and provider of Ayurvedic treatments. A Board-Certified Holistic Health Educator, Karen also trained with health pioneers Norm Shealy, M.D., and Carolyn Myss, Ph.D. Her extensive credentials include certifications as an Ayurveda Counselor (trained with John Douillard, D.O.), Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, and Certified Life Purpose Coach™.
Yet, beyond her degrees and certifications, what truly defines Karen’s work is the depth of real-world experience she brings to every session. As a graduate of "Life’s Mystery School," she understands firsthand the balance required to navigate life's many roles—family, home, career, personal dreams, and relationships. Through her unique Life Coaching process, private Reiki healing, and Spiritual Direction, she creates a safe, deeply valued space where individuals—especially women—can release emotional blocks, reconnect with their true purpose, and transform their deepest desires into reality.
Today, Karen facilitates one-on-one sessions, group classes, public and corporate retreats, and workshops alongside her husband, Greg. Whether meeting face-to-face in her Berks County studio or connecting remotely via phone and video across the country, Karen remains endlessly grateful for the privilege of sharing the journey with her clients as they discover the precious gift of living life to the fullest.
